I've received a Master in Computer Science degree and a Computer Science Engineer degree, both with maximum distinction, from University of Chile (2009). Currently I'm working as a research engineer at NIC Labs and as Part-time professor at DCC teaching first year introductory course to computer science. My main interest is ITC Research and transfer. I'm specially interested on technology transfer from academy to industry, and concerned with effective and high impact ITC transfers into Chilean development clusters. My research interests are on programming languages and their abstractions. My master thesis was on the field of pervasive computing to define new abstractions for more expressive service discovery; I've designed and implemented (on the AmbientTalk language) an open proximity model for service discovery.
Find a job out of Chile for a couple of years (I'm looking for my exact spot for personal development, maybe a master outside of CS or finally face the PhD on CS)
Who knows… [really! who knows… maybe you can help me
